LICENSING SPECIALIST – Panini SpA Publishing Division
Panini SpA is seeking a highly motivated and professional Licensing Specialist to join its Publishing Division.
Reporting directly to Marco M. Lupoi, Executive Director of Publishing and Licensing, the successful candidate will play an integral role in both the acquisition and sale of licenses across the group. Responsibilities include managing licensing relationships with selected licensors and sub-licensees, predominantly within Europe and the Americas. Key activities encompass commercial negotiations, preparing pitches and proposals, reviewing contracts, collecting business plans from commercial departments, forecasting activities, assessing royalty reports, and preparing comprehensive business reviews. The Specialist will work closely with editorial and commercial teams across Panini Publishing's subsidiaries and business units, ensuring seamless collaboration and the achievement of strategic objectives and will be integrated into an existing licensing team .
Language Requirements: Proficiency in written and spoken English at C1 level or higher is essential. Knowledge of Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates with academic backgrounds in law and/or business studies are encouraged to apply.
Previous experience in the licensing or publishing sector is desirable but not essential. Familiarity with the world of comics and the broader publishing market will be considered a preferential asset. This position is based on-site at Panini's headquarters in Modena.
